★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tlayudona is a excellent place for all ages and it's super fun to hang out and have a good time. One of my favorite events is the alebrijes one because you get a excellent explanation about its history and you get to paint a alebrije. One that is also fun is the chocolate event because you can make shapes with your chocolate and then eat it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tlayudona put on an incredible interactive experience learning about coffee testing and certification. We went to Guelaguetza Coffee Laboratory where Manuela, the owner, shared about the process of coffee evaluation and how she is working with local growers throughout the state of Oaxaca, the country of Mexico, and beyond, to classify and position their product in world markets. We participated in coffee cupping and the evaluation processes, while enjoying LOTS of delicious coffee and also learned about different preparation methods. The whole experience was really well put together and extremely informative!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experiences! I participated in tamale making and a mezcal talk and tasting. I’ve been to Oaxaca several times, and these tours stood out. I learned so much from the local hosts and Tlayudona guides and had fun participating and getting to know more about culture and gastronomy. Tlayudona is professional, available to answer questions, and thoughtful about the tours they provide. I will definitely book with them again the next time I’m in town!

The scenery was beautiful, the food fresh and delicious and the mezcal beyond compare. It’s a true privilege to get to know Oaxaca on this level through its wonderful people.
