Los toner reutilizados evitan millones de toneladas de petróleo desperdiciado. El reciclaje contribuye a la conservación del medio ambiente, reduciendo los elementos no biodegradables que contienen. De esta manera se evita la fabricación del plástico de los cartuchos y que toneladas de basura lleguen a los sanitarios donde demorarían cientos de años en degradarse.
El reciclado del toner consigue que cerca de 38.000 toneladas de materiales plásticos no terminen amontonados en algún basurero, foco de gases y desperdicios contaminantes.
