Tuvimos una muy mala experiencia. Previamente ya los había visitado con unas amigas y estuvo excelente pero ahora que regrese con mi familia y mis perros, de los cuales pague para poder estar en el hotel, nos sentimos rechazados desde que llegamos. La dueña muy hostil con mis perros, siendo que estaban amarrados. Además, nos quedamos por 12 horas sin luz, sin la posibilidad de tener a/c ni hacer cena ni desayuno. Por qué la cocina es eléctrica. Cuando quisimos utilizar la parrilla de gas que está en el área común nos dijo la dueña que era de uso exclusivo del hotel, después de estar 12 horas sin luz! Le pedí usrla solo para hacerle de comer a mi hijo y de mala gana accedió. Y a las 11 de la mañana ya tenia un mensaje de que la hora de salida era a las 12, sin ningún tipo de compensación por haber pagado el precio de un hotel de lujo sin luz! Además los dueños sabían que desde 10 días antes estaba fallando el sistema eléctrico del pueblo y no nos previnieron. La verdad si esperaba una compensación por qué la vez que fui con mis amigas ,sin ni siquiera pedirlo el dueño nos dijo que podíamos extender nuestra estancia sin costo extra y esta vez todo lo contrario. Es una lástima que un lugar tan bonito tenga tan mala actitud de servicio.

Excelente lugar para ir a relajarte. Los bungalows están hermosos, las instalaciones, la vista, todo está muy bonito, el trato muy amable. Para mi gusto falta un poco de limpieza en áreas de construcción y de maleza pero nada que altere tu estancia en el lugar. Mi experiencia fue de ensueño, vuelvo sin duda.

Toninas es un lugar muy especial. El amor que los dueños le han dado al hotel se siente por todas partes. Es un lugar perfecto para familias y los anfitriones son muy especiales. Además el bonus es la conexión tan especial que han creado con la naturaleza. Ideal para compartir en familia.

This place is absolutely magical! Words can't describe it. The staff is warm, wonderful, and extremely accommodating. The bungalows are chique and comfortable. The other accomodations are beautiful and relaxing. The beach offers expansive space, swimming and surf. The town provides amazing cuisine and authentic charm. What else could you ask for?!

5-Star experience. Great getaway, exquisite food!

The view and the place are amazing! The owners are very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a great place to chill, surf or just a getaway, this is the place!

Excellent spot to chill for a couple of days! Family friendly pool, safe places to walk and enjoy the beach. The staff here are super nice and helpful (and the pups are adorable). The ocean is spectacular in all its Pacific glory (not tame like the Caribbean though, be warned!). The tiny town offers great seafood options, burgers, and the best roasted chicken I've ever tried. Grocery stores are limited, so bringing your own food is a good idea.

We were a group of 8 (4kids 9-15yrs.)....rented the 3 villas for a 3 nt. stay at Tonina's and it was wonderful to say the least! The villas are adorable, comfortable and well equipped with wifi, t.v., air conditioning, coffee maker and complimentary coffee and tea and everything you need to make meals....you bring your own food to prepare or there are places close by to order in as well as a small store in the pueblito. The outdoor showers in the bathrooms are a really super neat feature. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Common area has an outdoor kitchen, bbq and lots of seating/lounging areas and hammocks. The pool is nice for cooling off after a long walk on the beach. Our days consisted of lounging in the mornings around the outdoor areas gazing out at the ocean looking for dolphins...saw them once!!! Then a long walk on the beach which we basically had all to ourselves....tide was out mid morning and the kids would spend hours in the tide pools right in front of Tonina's looking for ocean life and cool shells. A quick dip in the ocean and then lunch and relax. We brought games, music and books. If you fish....people fish from the beach. Early evenings were spent again on the beach gathering fire wood for the bonfire. Driftwood from the beach is plentiful for this. Bring marshmallows if travelling with kids or you can buy a bag at the little store. Prepare for fabulous sunsets. It was super fun to have dinners outdoors around the large common area table. Once the sun went down the bonfire was lit and the marshmallows were roasted. The stars are amazing! We relaxed, played and literally enjoyed every second of our stay. The owners made us feel immediately welcome and were readily available to answer any questions or concerns. Cleaning service available, lots of towels and lovely toiletries. Esty, the adorable husky, was readily available to accompany us on our beach walks, hang by the fire and play tug of war with all the kids. Her dog friend...we called Loca.....would come by occasionally too. Turtle sanctuary near by which was closed when we went. We weren't lucky this trip to witness any turtles laying eggs....maybe next time! Will we go back? I'm trying to figure out our next dates as I write!!!! Can't wait to go back!!!
