Different, eye there are days when there is no boat, it costs $ 1290 per person and the cabin with bathroom and 4 beds comes out at $ 1100 with TV, they give movies on DVD. Departs at 10pm, more or less includes dinner and arrives at peace at 7 am 8am, from the dock. There is a truck to peace. Like if it served you.

The service is good but if it takes you a long time to get on and off, I did not like the food at all on the ferry: it takes you. Our cabin was clean and very comfortable. They rented us two free DVDs but we didn't see them, or we were outside or asleep, we were really tired. It is a very nice experience to feel the movement, to see the sunrise and the sea wherever you turn.

I think it is a good way to travel to La Paz, personally I found it more comfortable and safer in the face of the pandemic to travel in a cabin, on the way in the rooms because there was no cabin but people do not always respect the use of masks and there is no authority that forces them to put it on, in that sense the cabin is safer. I also had a problem with the reservation of the cabin because I set aside one for four passengers and when I arrived they gave me one for one person, although it could be arranged and they provided us with the correct one, in general we had to spend almost half an hour or more waiting for it. solve us

The process of boarding and documentation of luggage begins at midnight. (2 hours approx). (The trip lasts 7 or 8 hours approx). To sell tickets to seniors you need: Bring a medical certificate, they need to show that they are suitable to climb stairs and be in good health and sign a response, only then do they get the tickets. If you are NOT a senior citizen, they sell you the ticket in the normal way. When boarding the ferry, they make 2 lines, one line is for the elderly and mothers with small children, they are taken by a vehicular transport to the inside of the ferry so that they do not walk. And the others enter walking through the corridors of the port. It is interesting because you observe how the trailers and trucks go up to the ferry and you have to climb many stairs until you reach your assigned seat, there are personnel who tell you where you should go. The next day in the morning they give you your breakfast and your coffee (Free, it's simple) but you can go to the dining room to buy other things for breakfast or lunch. When arriving at the port of Pichilingue, the departure of the Ferry passengers is very controlled and it can take up to an hour and a half for all the Ferry passengers to leave. When leaving the ferry, I noticed that there are no taxis or buses to take you to La Paz. Perhaps it is because I was one of the last to leave the ferry, sometimes a lonely taxi passed but they charge very expensive, what I did is wait for a bus that comes from Balandra beach to La Paz, I waited another hour plus! You have to go out on the road to wait for him because he does NOT enter the port.

It is a small port with great movement of people of all kinds, there are boat tours to different routes, we did not have the opportunity to visit the famous Pechocho why he was disabled but if we saw herds of dolphins, excellent tour I recommend it for when they come

Mainland to Baja ferry need to knows... Topolobampo is not like Mazatlan to La Paz experience. Handicap or physically challenged keep driving south to Mazatlan. Tobopalobompa doesn't have much to offer, one decent hotel, and a beautiful malacon with a half dozen decent restaurants to wait until the late sailing. You will have hours, due to not driving at night. Especially in this part of the country, it can get scary. SHips Think step-down cruise ship to basic car ferry to cargo ship. There are 2 ships leaving Tobo within an hour of each other around midnight. Overnight to La Paz with a free crew meals, usually birria or similar, but excellent. Afternoon trip from La Paz arriving just after sunset. One you are in the interior other not so much. One has a small bar, other dry, so you don't hurt yourself. Be prepared for a 12hr car sit, possibly like us next to a large open onion truck. Very long night and be prepared to climb on both ships. Mazatlan has an elevator, thus handicap accessible. The good of cargo, you get to snuggle with your four leggers. Bring foreign or old collectors coins for a better experience. The man who feeds you will liven up to your gift. He collects and shares with passagers. I always carry Ike dollars for special tips to remember me by. This was a blessing for us both. The better boat with cabins, well worth the upgrade. Bring your own movies or entertainment for DVD player. Four leggers are kept warm in belly by trucks. We tipped watchman and he gave updates and a visit, but be prepared for long trek on open stairs. Hope this helps everyone seeking passage to Baja. It is a wonderful experience with the locals that move goods around the west. The stories they tell are amazing just open yourself and you'll really understand what make Mexico beautiful.
