★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caballero Alto es una torre que se encuentra en el segundo piso del castillo de Chapultepec.
La torre fue construida por el arquitecto Joaquín Velázquez en el año de 1842 al remodelarse el castillo para albergar al Colegio Militar, recibe el nombre de Caballero Alto por ser el nombre con el que se designaba a las torres de observación en las edificaciones militares, así como también se usaba el término para nombrar a los alumnos de una academia militar.
Caballero Alto is a tower that is located on the second floor of the Chapultepec castle.
The tower was built by the architect Joaquín Velázquez in 1842 when the castle was remodeled to house the Military College, it is called Caballero Alto for being the name by which the observation towers in military buildings were designated, as well as the term was also used to name the students of a military academy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me imagino lo que debió ser en su momento, durante la guerra con Estados Unidos, como lugar de descanso sus jardines, o cuando fue sede del observatorio astronómico, etc. Otro lugar lleno de tanta historia en un rincón tan pequeño de la ciudad.
I imagine what it must have been at the time, during the war with the United States, as a resting place in its gardens, or when it was the seat of the astronomical observatory, etc. Another place full of so much history in such a small corner of the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muy bonito, limpio, lleno de historia. La Vista de la ciudad hermosa. Duras como 3 a cuatro horas y despues Das una Vuelta por el Parque. El clima muy agusto. Un poco helado en la manana pero luego muy suave.
Very nice, clean, full of history. The view of the beautiful city. You last about 3 to 4 hours and then you go for a walk around the park. The weather very comfortable. A little icy in the morning but then very smooth.
