★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esa área alrededor de la torre de Pemex al igual que todo el malecón es un lugar muy agradable para estar, principalmente ya cuando baja el sol porque de día está muy soleado.
Pero la torre de Pemex da buena sombra y aunque haga calor siempre se puede estar un buen rato a gusto en la sombra de la torre, y siempre hay buen viento en ese lugar.
Estar junto al mar siempre es relajante aunque uno esté acostumbrado a ello.
That area around the Pemex tower, like the entire boardwalk, is a very pleasant place to be, especially when the sun goes down because it is very sunny during the day.
But the Pemex tower provides good shade and even if it's hot you can always spend a good while in the shade of the tower, and there is always a good wind there.
Being by the sea is always relaxing even if you are used to it.

Su construcción comenzó en el año 1950 a cargo del arquitecto Carlos Lazo Barreiro, se emplearon materiales como concreto, aluminio y vidrio. Fue inaugurado en el año 1952.
Inicialmente alojó las oficinas del Banco de México, actualmente es la sede de Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX).
El lugar cuenta con una maravillosa vista, murales, se mantiene cuidado, invito a los visitantes a evitar tirar basura dentro del mismo y respetar las áreas verdes.
Es fantástico el edificio tanto de día como de noche y permite conocer más de la historia del Puerto.
The PEMEX Tower is an emblematic building in the city of Veracruz, it is of modern architecture.
