★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De los lugares tradicionales en el centro de Guadalajara. Uno de los meseros es sordo y se las ingenia para explicarte que “ahogada” es muy, muy enchilosa; que lo que hay que pedir es “media ahogada”.
La salsa buenísma, muy bien especiada, pero han bajado mucho la calidad de sus tortas en los últimos dos años. Ojalá y vuelvan a tener la calidad que los ha hecho perdurar desde 1959.
 From traditional places in the center of Guadalajara. One of the waiters is deaf and manages to explain that "drowned" is very, very spicy; that what you have to ask for is "half drowned".
The sauce is great, very well spiced, but the quality of their cakes has dropped a lot in the last two years. Hopefully they will return to the quality that has made them last since 1959.

Very small the cakes with the minimum of sauce a quarter of lemon without meat the only good thing is the chili every day this place gets worse

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Están desde 1959, pero están todavía más lejos de ser buenas. Salsas frías, insipidas. Podría poner por lo menos a 20 torteros por encima de este lugar. Mucha tradición, en un barrio que envejeció para mal, el sabor concuerda con la zona..... Muy buen servicio, eso sí!!
They've been around since 1959, but they're even further from being good. Sauces cold, tasteless. I could put at least 20 pancake makers above this place. A lot of tradition, in a neighborhood that has aged for the worse, the taste matches the area..... Very good service, yes!!
