★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nunca había probado las tortas ahogadas, nunca había visitado Guadalajara y me quede mararillado y extasiado por tan agradable combinación de sabores, olores y la manera de como preparan dicho platillo jaliscience. De las pocas Ciudades que he conocido tan limpias, tan afables y con gente tan linda!!!
En verdad que disfrute está rica torta ahogada, acompañadas con unos tacos de papa dorados, con carne de cerdo, lechuga, cebolla y jitomate. Delicioso platillo, de verdad!!!
I had never tried the drowned cakes, I had never visited Guadalajara and I was blown away and ecstatic by such a pleasant combination of flavors, smells and the way they prepare said jaliscience dish. Of the few cities I've met so clean, so friendly and with such beautiful people!
In truth, enjoy this delicious drowned cake, accompanied with a few golden potato tacos, with pork, lettuce, onion and tomato. Delicious dish, really!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Este lugar lo encontré al ir caminando de regreso a mi hotel y el nombre de Tortas ahogadas llamó mi atención tanto como para ir al día siguiente para comer.
La verdad al llegar me lleve la grata sorpresa de que los precios de una torta ahogada no me salía tan caro, al igual que un paquete de torta, dos tacos y un refresco por $60 pesos mexicanos fue bastante bueno.
El sabor de dicho platillo fue excepcional, la verdad la carne bien preparada, la salsa los tacos rica, el picante de una salsa que me dieron aparte delicioso (picaba sabroso), el sólo recuerdo hace que se me haga agua la boca. Le agradecí al joven que estaba tras la mesa preparando las tortas, muy deliciosas. Recomiendo ampliamente darse una escapada sólo para probar una rica torta ahogada. Un lugar que visitaré nuevamente en mi próxima visita a Guadalajara.
I found this place when I was walking back to my hotel and the name of Tortas ahogadas caught my attention enough to go the next day to eat.
The truth is that when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised that the prices of a drowned cake were not so expensive, as well as a package of cake, two tacos and a soft drink for $ 60 Mexican pesos was quite good.
The flavor of this dish was exceptional, the truth is the well-prepared meat, the rich tacos sauce, the spiciness of a sauce that they gave me apart delicious (it was tasty), the only memory makes my mouth water. I thanked the young man behind the table preparing the cakes, very delicious. I highly recommend taking a getaway just to try a delicious drowned cake. A place that I will visit again on my next visit to Guadalajara.
