★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soy cliente frecuente, consumo 1 o más veces por semana desde hace tiempo, pero últimamente han reducido el tamaño de el birote y la cantidad de carnita en la torta, están muy buenas las tortas y los tacos, pero se nota que bajo en cantidad a comparación de tiempo atrás.
I am a frequent customer, I have been consuming 1 or more times a week for a long time, but lately they have reduced the size of the birote and the amount of carnitas in the cake, the cakes and tacos are very good, but it is noticeable that the quantity has decreased to comparison of time ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our very first time in Guadalajara, and we were told "Tortas Ahogadas" was a must.
We found this cozy place around our hotel and got ready to try.
So, there are 3 types of meat you can choose for your torta (Kind of a Sandwich with a Ciabatta like bread). Then the torta goes into an earthenware kind of plate and there comes the sauce. Tomato based sauce with a little spicy flavor. So that's the "Ahogada" (drowned). This sauce bathes the Torta and then rests on the plate for you to "submerge" it.
You can add fresh cucumber pieces, onions, spicy onions as you like.
Awesome service, friendly and tasty food.
