★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Les recomiendo ampliamente la torta de la barda. Está torta es típica de Tampico y es una delicia ojo cuidado al ponerle la salsa verde de chicharrón ya que se caracteriza por ser picosa.
I highly recommend the barda cake. This cake is typical of Tampico and it is a delight to be careful when adding the green pork rind sauce since it is characterized by being spicy.

Probé las flautas de res y estaban buenas, aunque la salsa un poco insípida.
No puedo decir lo mismo de los tacos Yucatecos que tenía muy mal sabor.
La carne estaba ácida. La preparación de la cebolla morada qué te dan para agregar a los tacos tenía un fortísimo sabor a vinagre y cero chile habanero.
No los comí, estaban indomables.
Le hice esos mismos comentarios a uno de los muchachos que atienden y dijo que seguramente le había puesto mucha cebolla a los tacos, pero no fue así, ni siquiera se las puse porque las probé antes.
En algunos lugares por gentileza al dejar la comida por su mal sabor, no te la cobran, o te hacen el cambio por otro platillo, pero aquí ni siquiera disculparon por el mal sabor qué les comenté.
The treatment is very cordial, but...
I tried the beef flautas and they were good, although the sauce was a bit bland.
I can't say the same for the Yucatecan tacos which had a very bad taste.
The meat was sour. The preparation of the purple onion that they give you to add to the tacos had a very strong flavor of vinegar and zero habanero pepper.
I didn't eat them, they were indomitable.
I made those same comments to one of the guys who attend and he said that surely he had put a lot of onions in the tacos, but it was not like that, I did not even put them because I tried them before.
In some places, out of courtesy when leaving the food because of its bad taste, they don't charge you, or they make you change it for another dish, but here they didn't even apologize for the bad taste that I told them about.
