★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the most economic mini market in town, that also sells fruits and vegetables. Mind me, it really is a MINI market so don’t expect a huge selection. But they actually have all you need, except for tea, which is impossible to get all over town. The staff is not super welcoming to foreigners, so better bring your best Spanish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lacking a real grocery store, this one is the best. Owned by a Mayan Family, don't expect big grins from the workers. But Foreighers will get charged the same as a local Mexican. Note: the avocados are kept in the back room, so ask for them. They are laid out ripening . this is true for other things as well, so ask. No English is spoken, but they do know some food words in English.
