★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed the visit here. There is as you would expect a shop with lots of tat to buy but that had no interest for me.
The actual mine is great though ,the views are amazing and the mine it's self is fascinating. It is an open mine, kind of like a quarry. You can literally look on the ground and pick up opals and quartz.
Even the really bumpy truck ride on the way up is part of the charm and experience.
Highly interesting and recommended.
