BEWARE! To fill the one van they had with 14 people they sold 7 of us one destination, and the other 7 a different destination. Drove us around for FOUR hours getting nowhere. When one group insisted they be taken to their destination they drove them there and dropped them off at 10 at night 45 minutes from Oaxaca "promising' to return and pick them up. Don't do it! Not safe.

The people at this company seem nice, but the excursion I went on with them was disorganized, and they not honest about the itinerary. They merged two different tours for Dia de Los Muertos, and satisfied none of us. Half of the tour members thought that they had signed up for a cemetery tour (we visited one cemetery). The other half (myself included) thought that they had signed up for the big celebration in San Agustin Etla. They initially had no intention to go to San Agustin Etla, and took us to another town (under pressure, they drove to San Agustin, but arrived at 10pm, or too late for most of the celebration). The result was that we ended up riding around in a van for 5+ hours and missing out on the event. The owner contacted me by Whatsapp to offer us another tour, but wasn't entirely honest about what the company had done to us. His version of what the tour was supposed to be had nothing in common with the written information about the tour.

If you do not speak good Spanish, you should avoid this agency like the plague. Four times they confirmed, including in writing, that the driver would speak English. He had a few words, but no confidence, so told us NOTHING all day. Not that we would wait 2 3/4 hours to get into Monte Alban. Not that we were near the aggressively policed entrance checkpoint and needed to regroup - until 5 minutes before he had to leave. With bored kids in tow, the result was we weren't back in time and he left us behind! Then, by now utterly rattled, he tried to make us pay entrance fees on top of the tour cost and sent us off with a guide who had no English at all. He didn't tell us how soon to return to the car park. At 12.15, he told us that the scheduled lunch would be after 3.00 (in the end it was at 4.30pm). This after we'd requested a tour suitable for young kids! He told us the second stop would be 20 minutes. It was over an hour. No communication. No organization. Crazy scheduling. Cowardly and very stressful handling of Monte Alban's obnoxious restrictions - which they surely knew about before. And downright dishonesty about their capacity to provide for foreign tourists. A shambles.

Excellent organisation of the tour to Hierve del Agua: small group, no unnecessary waiting time in between and the best was the knowledgeable guide, he told very interesting stories and was also funny. Pick up and drop off at the hotel were included. This is the kind of tour I would call perfect :)

Great day spent around Oaxaca. Adir our guide was adorable. He speaks perfect English, shared a lot of insightful information and was hilarious on top of it all! Highly recommend.
