Train museum - 78000 San Luis

4.5/5 based on 8 reviews

There wasn't much personnel present to guide us and to explain how the visiting works. Other than that, good source of information.

Decently big museum with nice exhibition mostly in Spanish. There were cool old maps of the railroad infrastructure and nice model rail road. Somewhere on the walls or ceiling should be some painting with socialistic feeling that is quite interesting, but I have not known about it before.

Very informative and interesting, if you don't read Spanish, use Google Translate on the descriptions of the different displays.

We did not enter because they wanted to spray my family in the face with chemicals to prevent covid! No thank you. We had already purchased tickets but the “protocolo” was not something I was going to comply with. Spraying my face with bleach solution is NOT A SOLUTION.

Hadn't stepped into this building since I was a child and it was a great honor to visit one more time. This place was a busy hub of people coming and going in the late 80's. Lots of history in here and overall enjoyed the experience. Worth the trip.
