Super boss driver, it was a good experience overall ?

Fast and well priced transportation to and from Oaxaca City. The vans are clean and air conditioned. The drivers are very professional and do their best with the rough roads.

An easy and cheap way to travel between Puerto Escondido and Oaxaca ( ~7h30, 250$). The seats are good, there is space for the legs and the driver will stop if you ask for toilet. There are 2-3 stops in villages along the road where you you can go to bathrooms (5$) and buy food/drinks. It takes the road which goes through mountains so be ready for a wild ride with a lot of curves.

Compared to other collectivo vans I have taken around parts of Mexico, this company surprised me the most. The van was comfy and left on time and arrived at a good hour. There were two stops along the way where you could use the toilet or get food. I was able to bring my small chihauau with me and sit with her carrier in my lap. so the stops were perfect to allow her to also relieve herself. The only downside was two hours before our destiantion a gentleman got on and vomitted all over himself. The driver didn't seemed too phased about the ordeal. luckily I had extra pee pads for my puppy so the gentleman could mop himself up. The smell of vommit on the floor was horrific, but at least I was wearing my mask so that helped limit some of the odor.

All went smooth, obviously nobody speaking english but wasn’t really a problem. Van seemed to be well maintained and driver drove very very carefully from oaxaca to puerto escondido

Heading to Puerto? When the ADO app/OCC buses are sold out, you can always count on this place. With vans leaving every hour, you’ll definitely find a seat. If not, walk up a block and there’s another van company also going all the way to PE (from Oaxaca it’s about a 7-hour trip). These vans seat up to 14 ppl + the driver, and they will reach Puerto via Hwy 131. They can pretty much drop you off anywhere along their route. Cash only. As of August 2021, you won’t spend more than $250 pesos per person (that’s much cheaper and faster than the big ADO/OCC buses which can be up to $580 pesos per person). Other notes: Unlike the big buses, these vans obviously have no bathrooms, but of course DO let the friendly driver know when you gotta make a stop (esp. if you get motion sickness on those windy mountain roads—bring Dramamine or pinch yourself and pray). Oh and the station here does have a bathroom ($5 pesos). Also unlike the big ADO/OCC buses, no charging outlets, but you can probably ask the driver for a charge (or bring an external battery). Last van usually leaves at 11pm arriving at around 6am in PE.

A pretty long and not that confortable of a ride, yet I am short of 6ft 3 in. I feel bad for bit*hing, since the locals seemed relatively content. There are two main stops (washroom and food) very conveniently spaced out and am sure they can stop more often. Everyone was very polite and courteous. The driver was ultra professional, excellent at his work and dedicated. If you don't want to fly back to CDMX, I'm guessing it's your best option.
