My favorite view of the whole railway is from Tèmoris to Rosario, next time I wanna stay in Tèmoris for few nights.

Hi Friends, just something to have in mind before or after you go in to the train. I’m sure is a great experience but I don’t recommend it because I found out they are not only not paying their kitchen staff, but also forcing them to work up to 23 hours straight without paying over time or travelling expenses like food. The people running this operation force them to sign their resignation, even before starting to work there. All this practices are illegal and the staff is desperate for help. The station was quite small and busy before boarding the train. There is not enough information posted to understand the options available.

I'd say this is the hidden jewel of chihuahua...if you like cliff hangin,have a deathwish or zip lining this is the spot aside from sight seeing...your stepping into complete wilderness.

We travelled from Los Mochis to Barranca Posada on the El Chepe Regional train, and what an absolute pleasure! Choosing the local alternative to the more expensive option that is the Express, we were rewarded by travelling with the locals and indigenous Tarahumara, on a journey through the stunning scenic railway route through the Copper Canyon. A real must if you're travelling Mexico! Important to note that on their website, they force you to book the more expensive Express train, which is great if that's what you want. We even enquired via email, but they made it impossible to book the Regional train, and claimed we could not do so without a reservation on the Express. Our advise is to go to a station with a booking office (Los Mochis for us) and book in person. The staff member was really helpful, spoke enough English to help us and allowed us to book onto the Regional train without any issues. Great views! If you are used to riding trains a lot, you may be disappointed in some things (like the time it takes to board and disembark The views are unmatched. I had the pleasure of riding between Creel and El Fuerte, we were due to arrive at 333pm but ended up arriving at 415pm. Be aware, if you need to work each day, even just for an hour, the wifi doesn't work. I was in 1st class but it didnt matter. Each wagon's Internet wasn't working
