TROPICAL ADVENTURES - 48338 Puerto Vallarta

Horrible quality of bus, I thought it was going fall apart anytime. Cracked windshield, audio speaker reinforced with wire ties.

I work for one of the worlds largest software companies and live in Seattle for a number of years. My family of 2 kids and my wife got roped into this garza blanca sales presentation by some real authentic sounding people where they told us it will be a 75 min presentation and then promised us gifts. I personally verified this info through multiple agents and decided to take the plunge...I thought, it's only 1.5 hours and even if they are wrong it will last 2 hours max including breakfast ...HUGE MISTAKE !! The presentation lasted 3 hours and towards the end we were literally begging to let us go, respectfully though. Had we not, it would have lasted another hour. This was after an hours drive. So we spent about 4.5 hours total I think. Half the day was gone. After one salesperson we got 2 more salespeople to deal with..talk about pressure here !!! We said we will think about it. They had offered ziplines and ATVs for free right after the presentation..which was the lure. We got the tickets, but ATVs were another day. The company they used for ATVs was TROPICAL ADVENTURES on Christmas day ! Fine we said..we had no choice anyways..thank God we got our own car to the presentation and not their taxi. We did the ziplines the same day. Got back home in the night...not worth it really...the place was Canopy el eden. Here's the kicker. On Christmas day, they picked us up for the ATV. When we got there, they said, my 17 yr old cannot drive. Well, why didn't they say so at the Garza Blanca ??!! We would have never taken this. Then, TROPICAL ADVENTURES tried to scare us saying ATVs are not for us...too difficult. What ?? After 1.5 hours in their stupid taxi when we reach, they say we should not do it ?? !! Ok, let us try, we thought. They took us on a difficult route on purpose and then said none of us were capable of driving an ATV. I saw nothing wrong, but they told us they will give us ziplines for free..so we thought fine, we trusted them again. When we got back, they said ziplines offer was no longer valid..we disagreed...so they threatened and insulted us. Intimidation tactics at their worst !! Ultimately after multiple insults, we had no choice but to take the taxi back. They laughed at us as we were leaving. Happy to post pictures of those folks and videos as well. There was another family from California who went through a similar, less intimidating ordeal but also went back frustrated. Pls don't make the mistake I made. It's just not worth it to save a few bucks...all that these tours want is your money, in whatever shape and form and when they don't get it, their true colors come out. TROPICAL ADVENTURES and Garza Blaca are connected to each other...there was a reason the sales agent sold us those tickets !! Be careful.
