★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mike rented us some surfboards and boogie boards and also took my friends for lessons. The boards were in good working order and he even dropped them off and picked them up from the place we were renting in Troncones. My friends had nothing but good things to say about this lessons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mike is an easy going gent who teaches with simplicity. No pressure, no flakely spiritual one with the board and wave nonsense. The KISS rule is quite helpful. We were a large group of several families ages 12 to 56 and had a great time. Mike's choice of a surf spot is ideal of beginners. We used Mike twice. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mike and the staff at Tsunami Surf took exceptional care of my family and friend for board rentals and surf lessons. Some of us were beginner surfers and Mike's teaching style and wisdom allowed all of us to achieve surfing success on day 1. We surfed a couple days after our lesson and Mike dropped off and picked up the boards at our surf spot, which was huge based on our transportation constraints. Our surf experience was the highlight of our trip. - Thank you Mike and Tsunami Surf.

On the shop, they also offer a large choice of bicycle. Nice to have a ride en el pueblo! Definitely a good address for all the riders seekers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My two sons have been in a handful of beginner surf lessons over the past few years in California and Costa Rica, and they have never had a better teacher than Mike Linn in Toncones, Mexico. Mike was able to really break down the elements of developing successful form, body mechanics and "pop up" skills, which resulted in all of the kids and adults in our group getting up and riding waves on day one. It was pretty remarkable....and so much fun! Mike was kind, fun, flexible and very knowledgeable about where to choose to surf in the area to best match the skills of the group.
