 The rooms are very small but hygienic although a mirror is needed the common areas are beautiful

Saliendo de la habitación bajas las escaleras al muelle y tienes toda la laguna! Hamacas en el agua, kayaks, etc! Hermoso
A very beautiful villa, very careful!
Leaving the room down the stairs to the pier and you have the entire lagoon! Hammocks in the water, kayaks, etc! Beautiful

Super quiet with a spectacular view to the length, they include lodge kayaks that are available at the time you want along with life jackets, a beautiful place to stay and with a very friendly attention from the host. Super recommended

La atención que recibimos por parte de los dueños superó mis expectativas. Y vaya que eran altas porque había visto un par de comentarios positivos al respecto.
La cabaña tenía una gran vista de la laguna y descubrí que no hay mejor manera de comenzar una mañana como sentarse y observarla detenidamente.
Volvería sin dudarlo!
An amazing place!
The attention we received from the owners exceeded my expectations. And boy were they high because I had seen a couple of positive comments about it.
The cabin had a great view of the lagoon and I found that there is no better way to start a morning than to sit and watch it closely.
I would go back without hesitation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at a bungalow in tucan village for the majority of our time in Bacalar, aka the "Maldives of Mexico" and it was simply perfect. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are only 3 other bungalows on the entire property so it felt very secluded and quiet for our entire stay. The private dock on the property allowed us to relax and soak in the magic of the seven colored lagoon while hanging from the hammock. The free kayaks were such a great perk and we were able to go explore the lagoon during sunrise and sunset. They also offer a private pontoon tour of the lagoon for 2000 pesos and it was worth the price. They also had free bicycles that you could ride into town on but we were also close enough to cenote cocalitos which made it easy to hitch a taxi ride into town to grab lunch/dinner and explore there as well. Taxi rides from town to the property was approximately 60 pesos one way. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the magico pueblo of Bacalar!
