★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Katastrophe!
Catastrophe!
We were initially well advised by Elena. We wanted to go diving in the cenotes. Since we could not find any experience with the dive shop on the Internet, we were offered to get to know the Divemaster in the morning. He would also show us his license (Divemaster and Cave diver) on request. All right, Elena wasn't there in the morning. It started with the young man and his young colleague not being able to find our documents in their unsorted pile of paper. Then I checked the equipment that was on the ground. The regulator was completely filthy, sand everywhere in the grooves. Very uncertain in my opinion. The device did not give the impression that it would be looked after. I asked for an exchange and the dive computer I ordered was not available for rent. Well, then an unpleasant man with a long beard came in. I can still do without a "good morning" but ... the answer to the colleague's request that we would like to see the license is not at all. He shows us no license. Either we trust him or we should go home! Where do we come from? I answered from Germany and what would that have to do with it? He replied that Israelis were probably the most cautious people and that they did not want to see his license either. What am I interested in and what is the argument? The license is withdrawn from this instructor if he has one. The diving studio is therefore not recommended due to poor equipment and poor organization. We stopped and went to another dive shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never dived before in my life and was quite worried that I wouldn't be able to handle it. Luckily, our guide Renata was clear in explaining all the equipments and essential skills. She was very patient with me and always make sure I feel safe and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had 2 dives with Renata! Thanks so much, you are so kind and friendly. She took much time for safty breefing. We had nice conversations and a nice half day. She brought drinks and snacks and took care of us. The Cenote diving was a blast! We went out early in the Morning, and there was no one. We had the whole place for us for the first dive! The Equipment was in a good condition.
Best greets Nina & Tim

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had diving. The whole set up is completely terrible. There is a serious lack of professionalism from the dive master. My dive almost turned deadly because they just care to see tours without verifying basic safety measures. Honestly, if you want a quality experience I highly suggest Scuba10 in Playa del Carmen. They are as professional as they come. They have their own boats, shop, and transport, not to mention at a better price. I'm sure the only 5 star ratings were made by the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We (2 advanced open water divers from germany) have been to Tulum in september 2017. We met Alberto (a long haired, very nice guy) who accompanied us as our divemaster on 3 cenote dives (dos ojos, casa cenote) and one dive at tankha reef. The diving school was professional and the staff was very cool. Alberto showed us his diving and cenote licence without being asked. We felt secure throughout the whole time. Based on our experience we definitely would go there again and therefore can recommend this diving school! Special thanks to Alberto for introducing us to cenotes !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I really enjoyed our Scuba tour of Dos Ojos Cenotes with Diving School of Tulum. Our guide spoke good English and was informative. Being new to open water diving he made sure we felt safe and comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I did a two part diving tour today, one in a cenote and one in the ocean. From the get go the staff were super friendly and helpful! As we are not certified divers there was only a beginners option however the package of two dives was great!
Our instructor on the days was amazing, very informative and nice guy.
The most standout of the whole day was how he handled things when I began to have a panic attack in the water while we were learning the basic skills. He was incredibly patient, supportive, and gently tried to see if I could keep going with some more very basic breathing practice on the surface, ensuring me that I can take as much time as I needed- with his careful guidance and support I was able to complete both dives! The cenote and the reef were absolutely incredible however the staff were the real gems here.
Would without a doubt recommend this company to book, any diving group in Tulum can take you to these places but I do not doubt for a second that anyone else would have taken care of me so well. The biggest, most heartfelt thank you to the team at Tulum School of Diving, you guys really have made my trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did a very nice 2 dives trip to the Dos Ojos cenotes/caves. This diving school is really easy going and relaxed. Which creates a good learning environment and atmosphere for a day-trip. But always safety-first of course. Be sure to ask for dive-master Rianata Rodriguez, she is a very ambitious and enthusiastic person for a day of fun, learning and adventure! I spoke to most dive-shops in tulum, but certainly recommend this company. The gear and equipment are also good. (I am a Advanced Padi with over 50 dives.)
