Turismo Santours - 68000 Oaxaca de Juárez

We toured 2 days in a row with Santours and loved every minute of both. Our drivers Herman and Roberto were excellent and our guides David and Soledad were over and above the average guides....very informative, fun, entertaining and professional. Highly recommend Santours!

For all the hype and reviews, I was disappointed. The lone guy in the office was unfriendly. The chairs were up and he didn't greet me so I thought it was closed at first. Maybe he was just counting the minutes until he could go home, but he was sullen and gave me short curt answers. I speak Spanish. I confirmed the office was still open. I was friendly and ready with my questions. In the end, he offered a full day excursion with more stops than I wanted (I had seen some sites already) and the stops were generally about 20 minutes each with just picture taking time and many hours in a van. I just wanted to go to Hierve de Agua, but would have been happy to see Mitla and El Tule again. I didn't need the tourist souvenir stops (mescal, carpets, etc). The guy was not friendly or helpful...and the tour longer than most I had heard about. So I decided to save Hierve de Agua for my next visit (I come to Oaxaca regularly). I am not fond of tours anyway, so will probably do it independently and have more time, less people and about the same price. For those that like tours-- hopefully you get one of the guides in the reviews- they sound awesome...which is important if you are crammed in a van for most of the day!

I gave this tour company five stars because of our beautiful tour guide Sole. I am from Egypt and I have been to multiple trips with her. Sole is an amazing person,helpful,friendly,professional and lovely. You will feel like you are with your family. Always ask for her while booking your trips.

Went on Mitla tour with Sol as guide. She was terrific, knew her stuff, as passionate about Mexican culture and a lot of fun. Can not recommend this tour more highly.

I did it tour to Mitla / Hierve el Agua today and it was just great. Our guide was Sol and she explained everything in Spanish as well as in English. Ask for her and you’ll have a good time.

Went on the tour to Mitla, Hierve el agua, etc. Excellent quality of service, comfortable van, the guide (Sol) switched from spanish to english with ease and was very enthusiastic!

Don Antonio was amazing at explaining details about the tour. He is very respectful and knowledgeable about the archeologic sites, historical events and cultural beliefs, his drivers as well are careful, cautious and respectful while driving. Thank you to all Santour team, we will definitely return to Oaxaca.
