Y se que no es algo personal de este local; es más bien un vicio de la industria, pues pregunté en otros lugares y los presupuestos eran parecidos. La industria de reparación de pantallas no tarda en desaparecer. Me rehuso a pagar el 50-70% del valor de una pantalla por arreglarla. Prefiero poner esa diferencia faltante y comprarme una nueva.
No entiendo por qué serían tan caras las refacciones; no entiendo por qué un par de componentes de una pantalla de hace una década cuestan casi lo mismo que una pantalla del mismo tamaño NUEVA. En fin... vicios de la industria.
PD. $450 por el diagnóstico de la pantalla también se me hizo algo exagerado.
The attention from those who treated me was good. Quick diagnosis. But what is totally out of place are the prices.
And I know that it is not something personal of this place; It is rather a vice of the industry, as I asked in other places and the budgets were similar. The screen repair industry is quickly disappearing. I refuse to pay 50-70% of the value of a screen to fix it. I prefer to put that missing difference and buy a new one.
I don't understand why parts would be so expensive; I don't understand why a couple of components from a screen from a decade ago cost about the same as a NEW screen of the same size. Anyway ... vices of the industry.
P.S. $ 450 for screen diagnostics was a bit over the top too.
