★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband a veteran passed away on Sep 23, 2019 I'm original from Monterrey N.L. suffer with Depression and anxiety, all my family live in Monterrey, my sister apply for an emergency visa to be with me on this difficult time I'm going through My Mom have a tourist visa but she's old and sick, she can travel by herself.
Her visa got denied no one from my family could be
with me on this difficult time.
Just very disappointed of your service, inhumane.

BUT WARNING!? TAXIS ARE BAD!

i got robbed few times,do not get taxi out side in the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very organized. I came from USA for visa and don't speak much Spanish. Some guards outside speak English very well. That helped. There is a small shop which also has lockers for 40 pesos. So, you can take an Uber to the consulate and leave your phone in the locker. Locals advised never to take a regular taxi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and warm people at the US consulate. I don't speak Spanish and didn't face any challenge in navigating through. Every official at US consulate was very warm and every ready to help.
No Electronic item or bags are allowed in side the consulate. There is a small cafe outside the consulate, where you can keep your bag/mobile in the locker at 40 Pesos. So if want to take Uber to consulate , you can use mobile and keep the mobile in cafe locker.
I was with family and family is given priority at the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have recently inquired about a timetable for a passport application I submitted. I called and was told to send an email. I emailed twice and have yet to hear back. When i was originally applying for it, I got a response the same day. Now after everything has been submitted, I asked for tracking info and i can't get a response.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty coordinated and you are done in 1 to 1.5 hours. No cell phones or electronics allowed. The security people are generally nice. Consular officers seem pretty reasonable too. Overall a good and hassle free experience.
