★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Estuve en 2016. Iba a entrar al palacio de gobierno y como estaba cerrado llegué aqui. Lugar donde se establece la primera imprenta. data del 1539. En esa casa se fundieron las campanas de la catedral.
 I was in 2016. I was going to enter the government palace and as it was closed I arrived here. Place where the first printing press is established. dates from 1539. In that house the bells of the cathedral were melted.

Empezando por su arquitectura que filtra la luz a un atrio central, el techo y el barandal de madera y las escaleras de hierro forjado son el perfecto marco para una exposición cómo está:
Leonora Carrington Experience
En sus tres salas de exhibición encontrarás una cronología de su vida vs los eventos más relevantes de su tiempo.
Proyección en video algunas piezas pictóricas que cobran vida con música, al estilo de las últimas “experiences” Guardando proporciones me parece que logra su objetivo: dar vida al pensamiento de la artista.
Esta exposición no tiene sala de realidad virtual pero tiene algo mejor: obra original, elementos de los que se nutría, sus inquietudes y anécdotas. El origen de su surrealismo.
Estará expuesta hasta el 20 de junio de 2020.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En este escondido espacio de exposiciones de la UAM nos hallamos este "prototipo" de la próxima apertura de la Casa Estudio de Leonora Carrington. Es tan íntimo e interesante. Su personal muy muy amable. También hay una librería y acceso para silla de ruedas. Es una hermosa probadita de Leonora

Quiero comentarles que el personal que labora aquí es súper accesible.
La casa muy limpia. Las exposiciones como la de Leonora Carrington excelente por qué no habla de sus pinturas como tal, más bien está enfocada en ella.
Lugar de la primera imprenta y de una pieza arqueológica bellísima (Una Cabeza de Septiembre).
Super recomendable la visita familiar.

I want to tell you that the staff working here is super accessible.

Tienen que visitar todos sus espacios, la entrada en GRATUITA.
Además tiene una cabeza de Quetzalcoatl que se encontró en su construcción y que puedes ver al entrar.
House of the First Printing Press of America is a cultural space of the Metropolitan Autonomous University.
They have to visit all its spaces, the entrance is FREE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un lugar muy agradable en el centro histórico de la ciudad en el cual se encuentran exposiciones, salas de conferencias y una librería de la UAM abierta a partir de las 10 am hasta las 4 pm, con libros de varias disciplinas a muy buen costo.
It is a very pleasant place in the historic center of the city where there are exhibitions, conference rooms and a UAM bookstore open from 10 am to 4 pm, with books from various disciplines at a very good price.
