Entre alguno de los trámites que se efectúan es permisos de navegación, certificados de conformidad a la normatividad nacional e internacional, el seguimiento a incidentes marítimos y la regulación de las capitanías de puerto de toda la República Mexicana.
It is the unit of port captainships and maritime affairs, dependent on the Navy secretariat, the objective of this unit is the safeguarding of life at sea, the prevention of pollution, the protection of marine life. Among some of the procedures that are carried out are navigation permits, certificates of conformity to national and international regulations, monitoring of maritime incidents and regulation of port captainships throughout the Republic of Mexico.

Hay que considerar la falta de espacios para estacionamiento, cuando se vaya a realizar algún trámite.
En los otros niveles despacha Seguridad Social, Sanidad Naval y Universidad Naval.
Las personas aplicadas a estas actividades, son notablemente instruídas y amables.
Es lo mejor que pido ocurrir a la Autoridad Marítima, que la SEMAR la tomara bajo su control.
