About Unidad de Cines: José Revueltas, Julio Bracho y Carlos Monsiváis
Al finalizar el curso, el participante tendrá dominio en la detección y el análisis de los recursos expresivos y narrativos que construyen la modernidad y la posmodernidad cinematográficas, relacionando textos audiovisuales entre sí dentro de una perspectiva global conjunta del hecho cinematográfico, desde una perspectiva teórico-historiográfica.
Particularmente, se abordará un repaso a los postulados teóricos más significativos, a los principales autores junto con sus obras destacadas, desde el origen del cine moderno a mediados del siglo pasado, atravesando las corrientes más importantes, como la nueva ola francesa, el nuevo cine mexicano, el nuevo cine latinoamericano, los nuevos cines en Europa y el cine contemporáneo en el mundo. Todo ello, analizando como referencia el trasfondo social, cultural, artístico, político y económico de cada momento.

Aqui encontraras cine de calidad, peliculas de todo el mundo, en su idioma original, festivales de cine, encuentro con directores, etc.
Las salas son pequeñas y bien cuidadas. Se respeta la clasificacion de las peliculas. No tiene dulceria, ni paqueteria. La gente que va, respeta mucho el espacio y a los otros espectadores.
Una gran experiencia si de verdad te gusta el cine.

Me gusta la cartelera hay de todo tipo de películas mexicanas y de todas partes del mundo, desde documentales hasta cortos y cine de ficción. Ademas puede visitar otras áreas del centro cultural universitario de la UNAM hay una librería, teatro y un restaurante, además del museo. Siempre hay actividades y algo que hacer o simplemente caminar por esta reserva ecológica te llena de energía. Muy recomendable.
