Posee una larga historia, en este lugar se escribió "Los hijos de Sánchez" de Óscar Lewis, y ha tenido una reconstrucción por el sismo de 1985, lo cual llevó a que se reelaborara el diseño original, donde poseía una alberca, lavaderos y puertas abiertas a los visitantes. En los muros de la entrada puede verse parte de la historia de la vecindad, desde comienzos del siglo pasado hasta la actualidad. Recomendable visitarla con el cronista local para conocer la historia del sitio.
