Ha sido para estudiantes foráneos (nacionales y extranjeros) la mejor opción para realizar sus estudios universitarios, estancias de intercambio, veranos científicos y estudios de posgrado. Los laboratorios están muy bien equipados y la División cuenta con instalaciones de calidad. Sus estudiantes han tenido participaciones tanto nacionales como internacionales obteniendo buenos logros.
