Uxmal Resort Maya - 97890 Uxmal

I love this place. Staff are very friendly and most speak English. It's a mile walk to the Uxmal ruins along a trail from the hotel which parallels the highway. The room on the top floor had a gorgeous view of the ruins. AC is cold, mini bar is stocked. The pool is refreshing! Iguanas and frogs are running around in the grass surrounding the resort. Reloj pajaros flying around. And we had a nice massage. food is very good and the spicy salsa is top.10/10 would stay here again

Nice resort very close to Uxmal. We had the suites and they are extra large with king size bed and two AC units. Wooden furniture smell and no humidity like you normal get in hotel rooms. Restaurant staff is great and some speak English. Pool was not very clean, with the filter turn off on our day 2.

The hotel canceled our "pay on arrival" reservation one day before we arrive and instruct us to book another reservation if we want to stay with them. We don't have good internet while driving across Yucatán and the hotel phone has no one to answer on 11 am, out of panicking, we booked it again with "no-refundable " choice, thinking we gonna have a place to stay anyway. Once we have better internet service, we contact Expedia to learn our first "pay on arrival" reservation was perfectly fine and ready for us to check-in, but when we mention we already follow Hotel message instruction have the second nonrefundable reservation with higher rate made. " Unfortunately, we can not able to refund your second reservation." This is the moment we felt been cheated as Mexican Gas Station swapping 500 pesos to 50 pesos bill scam. Once we check in, the room condition is terrible, dirty bathroom, two weaving chair with 10 inches hole on the chair back, 3 floor has no Internet...no manager on site even it was just 4:30 pm. With complain to Expedia, the answer is someone named Mariana will call us to give us a satisfied solution...well, we were waiting since Dec 9th 6:00 pm until today...Dec 17th...just call Expedia, we are still waiting for Mariana to give us a satisfied solution. ( Well, we pack our stuff, and left the hotel drive 3 min to Uxmal Archaeology Site and with same rate we paid to Uxmal Resort Maya, we stay with Mayaland's Hotel across the street. The difference between these two hotels are between heaven and hell. ) No manager on 11:00 am, No manager on 4:30 pm, No manager on 7:30 pm....and we still waiting for that manager to call us back a whole week later...imagine if we are just sitting and waiting in that dirty room for their manager to contact us.....

Very nice hotel located 3 minutes by car from Uxmal archaeological site. It has a decent pool, a restaurant, large and clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel itself is not very new, but for 60 USD/night you can not complain.

If somebody wants just to rest without crowds od tourists that the right choice. Very good Restaurant and full choice of drinks.

The best part of this hotel is the pool. And the location. Food is by far the weakest point. Breakfast is just above awful. Rooms are big, bathrooms need renovation. Ok for one night

Great resort in the middle of the nature. We were lucky to be almost alone so we got the chance to enjoy it to the most. There is a spa with maya massage. The drinks at the bar are quite affordable, and the pool was perfect to rest after a day sightseeing uxmal region. The restaurant was ok but not expensive. The people working there were very nice. Thank you again !

This is old hotel, but very comfort. The rooms are big, the beds are comfort and the pool area is very cool for swimming and relax. Staff are very kind. I recommend lunch or dinner. They have very good food for good preice. You must to try coco shirmps.
