★ ★ ★ ★ ★ had an amazing time at Marcelo´s natural wine bar. tasty tapas, unique Mezcal flavors, heavy pours... all enveloped in a cozy, congenial atmosphere. it´s a far more relaxed experience, as though you´re in a living room with friends, rather than a stuffy, top down lecture hall environment. tremendous value for the price and i discovered they own a vineyard / wine tour / shipping container hotel + restaurant in vergel de sierra! looks like a lot of fun. will make the trip soon. book a wine and mezcal tasting when you are next in SMA. the food, drinks and hospitality are well worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marcello was very patient and kind in his explanations of his natural winemaking process. He was generous with his time and food pairings. His grasshopper dish was especially interesting. I highly recommend you spend an afternoon with him. As a bonus you should also experience his mescal tasting.

Marcelo did a great job sharing his passion and vision during our tasting. Also, artesanal Mezcal sourced and produced with his direction. Definitely call or WhatsApp to schedule when in SMA a visit by appointment only. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fun afternoon of artisanal, organic wine and mezcal tasting. Marcelo guided us through his myriad of creations, all aged in clay pots /amphora before bottling. A variety of delicious tapas, both savory and sweet, rounded out the experience. Truly a memorable experience!
