Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya - 77710 Playa del Carmen

Our trip to the Valentin Imperial Maya in December 2021 was amazing as always! We have been to this resort several times and it never disappoints! The grounds are beautiful, the service is excellent and the food is awesome! This trip we stayed in a golden pool room for the first time. It was nice not to have to rush in the morning to get a seat at the main pool as we could walk down at 10am and easily find loungers in either the sun or shade. Having not only drinks but food as well delivered to you poolside was a nice perk! My favorite surprise though was the return of Dora to the resort! In years past, she has always made our trip fun and enjoyable as part of the Go Team! Now in her new position, she is there to make sure your vacation is fabulous and your every need is met! She always goes above and beyond and is truly an asset to the Valentin! Make sure if you go you look for her! :) We can't wait to return to the incredible resort!

My husband and I just returned from a week stay at the Valentine- I would highly recommend this resort. It was absolutely phenomenal! The property is amazing, the food was great but most importantly the staff was excellent. Everyone took such great care of us. Specifically Dora (guest service experience) made our entire trip. She is an absolute gem and the resort should feel blessed to have her! We would return just because of how amazing she is!! 10 out of 10!!!

We have stayed at this resort multiple times and can't imagine finding anywhere that we enjoy more. Everything about the VIM is incredible. You'll love the romantic atmosphere, the comfortable rooms, the amazing food, and the excellent service the staff provides. One of the key things that brings us back is just how large the resort is. You never feel like you're overcrowded. There are several large pools, bars, restaurants and lounging areas. The beach has a massive swimming area with plenty of loungers. And if course wherever you go on the property there are friendly staff members who warmly greet you and cater to your every need.

We just finished a 9 day stay at VIM and had an excellent experience. The resort is beautiful and they are always working hard to make sure that it is well kept and clean. The food was fantastic and the staff in the restaurants did a great job taking care of us. There were several options for every meal and we never had a problem finding something good to eat! In the pool, the bartenders did a great job keeping up and the Go Team kept us all entertained every day! Special shoutout to Dora who planned a special celebration for our friend's birthday! Dora was so intentional and kind with every interaction. She always remembered our names and took the time to make us feel special and seen!

A fantastic resort with great staff! The pool was wonderful. The beach was beautiful. The food was delicious. Dora and the Go Team made sure everything was great and fun. Jesus at the breakfast buffet was a great waiter and always making our mornings great. I highly recommend this resort. If we come back to the Quintana Roo, we will absolutely stay here again!

My friend and I booked a week long vacation staying at the Valentin and to say the trip was amazing would be an understatement. We booked in May and fair warning for May, you'll definitely get a lot of rain that may dampen your vacation. However, for us this was not an issue. We made the best of the situation by getting comfortable with the amenities at the resort. The staff is incredible. So friendly and helpful. The grounds are amazing, the pools plentiful and winding. There was no shortage of activities to enjoy at the resort even though we did venture off to enjoy an adventure one drizzly day on our vacation. We upgraded to a junior deluxe room and having ready access to the swim up pools was wonderful. This was an amazing adults only vacation for us but do keep in mind this resort tends to have a lot of couples if that's something that may make your feel lonely. Awesome trip and I'd definitely visit again.

I stayed here in December for my graduation trip and had the most amazing time. The resort was very clean, the staff was extremely patient and kind with our large group, and everyone was so friendly! The hotel went out of their way and sent graduation cookies to my room. I must also mention one staff member in particular. Her name is Dora and she is amazing! Her energy was so upbeat and positive. We ran into her everyday at the resort she made sure we were having a good time. She is definitely a huge asset to this resort and it wouldn’t be the same without her. I can’t recommend this place enough!!

Dora is one of the nicest people i have meet at any resort. The food at the resort is also the best we have had . Great choices. Irvine our waiter on three occasions made us feel we appreciated. The staff at the sports bar keep our beer very cold on ice every night. Rooms are beautiful the grounds very well kept. The privilege package is also we worth the extra cost. I had lobster with all evening meals, cabana at the pool is so nice in the sun or out. Can't wait to return thanks for the great memories
