Took the tour out to Majahuitas & Yelepa on Jan 17 I cannot provide a more accurate review than that posted by Christa McKinzie I went kayaking rather than snorkeling at Majahuitas as I had never tried it and find the water in Banderais Bay to murky for snorkeling The food was OK I felt it was one of the best tours simply because of the great staff and vibe and would recommend it. One word of caution, The walk up to the waterfall was quite hard especially for a 65 year old with bad knees. However the falls are very beautiful and the water very refreshing to wade in and stand in the spray. The gain was worth the pain.

From the customer service to the quality of the equipment, the tours offered here are top notch! There's an open bar onboard so that's a definite plus. The music was awesome and they also take song requests, which I loved. I was treated with respect from beginning to end and felt right at home. I snorkeled at Majahuitas and then kayaked at Colomitos. It was one of the best tours I've ever experienced. It was fun, professionally organized, and is a definite recommendation on my behalf.

Yelapa and Majahuitas tour Good stuff: 1) Staff was extremely fun and friendly. The host had a fantastic personality and made sure we had fun, even though it was a very gloomy, chilly day. 2) The waterfall was pretty and it was a decent amount of time spent there. 3) Plenty of alcohol, if that's your thing. 4) Tons of beautiful fish while snorkeling, even though the water isn't very clear, but that's just how it is here. 5) We saw several whales, sea turtles and dolphins. Bad stuff: 1) Food was terrible and no drink was included with our lunch. Since we assumed they'd provide water with our meal, we brought no money on shore with us. Thankfully a kind stranger bought the four of us each a bottle of water. 3) LOTS of dogs on the beach. Normally, it would not bother me but these very sweet and well mannered dogs were all sick or injured. Some of them pretty seriously. It was a heartbreaking way to spend a day on the beach. 4) Music on the ship was too loud and speakers constantly cracked and cut out. Would I recommend this trip? For the price, and if you are not bothered by little details, yes. We kept a good outlook and had a great time. And the staff was what made it happen.

I went whale watching with these guys, and thoroughly enjoyed it! Saw a turtle, manta rays, dolphins, whales and birds. Knowledgeable and caring staff: lots of information on the ocean life, and when we saw some trash in the water, the captain steered the boat towards it, and the crew members picked it up. Nice music on the boat, and overall a fine vibe. My only wish is that they stop using plastic cups, and replace them with non-disposable ones.

For what you pay, I think the experience delivers. The places we visited were awesome and we enjoyed every minute. Just don't expect a luxurious cruise for the amount of money you pay. The boat is run of the mill and the food is average, but the guides are fun and helpful.

Just awesome. I didn't walk around, I didn't feel like being asked to buy the same thing over and over. Be polite, and learn some basic Spanish words, and you'll be fine. No gracias, etc.,

We had a blast yesterday on this boat trip. It was a great day and George was the best MC/guide. Everyone had so much fun, people were dancing and singing while the music blasted. We are in our 60s but they played great music that was well known but also new stuff. They took great care with my husband who cannot walk well. Can't recommend them enough.

I'm not sure about these 1 star reviews but that was absolutely not the case. It is a 2 hr ride to the island and back and a light breakfast and lunch was provided. Drinks were available after water activities, so on the way back which makes sense for safety. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed the ride and the other people on the ride. If you want something more intimate, then hire a smaller boat and staff. I also got a discounted ticket but had to sit thru a timeshare presentation of 4 hours and not 1 hr like mentioned. I wouldn't do this again but it was fun and can be checked off my list of things to do. Overall don't trust those 1 star reviews. It was not bad at all.
