★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tour starts at a gas station of all places, but don't let that fool you. An ecstasy of tastes await you. Emanuel was our guide and was fluent in English so we understood all the nuances of the making tacos, proper way to eat the tacos, the ingredients and the history of the vendor and their delicious fare. He was excellent at accommodating my gluten free diet. As they say come hungry. The tacos would meet any foodophiles gastronomic delights. The agua frescas at each stop were refreshing and paired well with the types of tacos. The extra stops at out of the way places along the way painted a wonderful picture of Puerto Vallarta and its residents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The daytime taco tour was the absolute BEST thing we did in PV. We were very curious about street food and the idea of eating fresh, authentic, and inexpensive food but we didn’t know how to approach it, was it safe? what to order? how to eat it? Well, this tour explains all of that and more. The food you eat is so wonderful, and there is so much of it!!!! At the end you get a list of places you ate at, what you ate, and the addresses so you can find the places again. We went back to all of them!! Our guide was so knowledgeable and she took such great care of us. We learned so much from her. I highly highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed. We went on to do the Vallarta Eats tour the next day. We also plan to do the Untouristed Taco Tour when we return to PV.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were supposed to have a private tour for our wedding group in May 2020. However with Covid-19 stopping us from getting to go on our vacation. I contacted Vallarta Eats to see about a credit as I’d assume they along with anyone else in the travel industry would only be offering credits. To my surprise I was offered a refund!! That was fantastic news after losing so much money on other trips and hotel costs. Thank you so much Eric for your understanding and amazing customer service! Doing the right thing now will 100% have me choose Vallarta eats as a tour when we are in Vallarta! Thank you so much! 100% recommend everyone!!
