I would recommend Vallarta Surf Co 10/10 would go with them again for a surf session! Leslie was so amazing in making it so easy to coordinate our lesson. She was so sweet! Also they make it so easy. Leo our instructor picked us up from our place in Malecon and we drove to Punta de Mita for our surf lesson. I’ve never surfed before but he made me and two of my friends feel so comfortable and gave us very clear instructions on what to do. He also was great about telling us exactly what to do in the water and made us feel safe and pushed us out in on olas pequeñas :) we had such a fun time! He also provided water & snacks plus chair and umbrella. It was really an unforgettable experience. Plus he was so kind to drop us off at Sayulita to explore. Mahalo Leslie & Leo!!!

After reading the reviews of surf shops offering lessons in the Nuevo Vallarta area, we emailed VSC and got prompt responses to help us set up an initial lesson for two teens. We were thrilled to hear, further, that they'd pick us up and take us to a local beach that perfect for beginner and moderate surfers alike (La Lancha). Two days later, we organized a larger family trip to the same beach and spent the day boogie boarding, surfing, and hanging out. Leo took excellent care of us on both days by picking us up at the hotel, bringing supplies, renting us wetsuits and boards, and giving incredibly effective instruction to the kids. Everyone got a ton of waves, including our least experienced surfers. Best of all, it was clear that Leo was stoked to introduce more people to the sport, offered surfing tips, and taught us about the local breaks, area, and surf community. As a longtime surfer, I was completely confident with the instruction by the VSC team and Leo, in particular. He and Nathaniel were friendly, encouraging, and great at teaching our kids paddle, catch, and ride really fun sets. So, don't hesitate: Call Vallarta Surf Company when you're in town. You won't be disappointed.

Couldnt ask for a better surf team to take me to a great spot and also have the best equipment for any wave. Got picked up from my Airbnb and got driven to an amazing beach where there were 3 different points to surf depending on your level of surfing. Leo and Rodrigo are very knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to use a longboard and short board and the crowd wasn’t bad at all. As we walked back to where we parked we were able to throw back some cold ones, it was perfect. Very happy with my surf day I can’t wait to come back! Thank you again !! I highly recommend them.

My experience with Vallarta Surf Company was amazing, Leo the instructor picked us up right in front of our door and drove us to the beach. We had a great and safe surfing session with a lot of help provided by the instructors. The beach was just incredible. I can't recommand enough !

I loved my surf lesson with Vallarta Surf Co and Leo! I’m a beginner surfer and have been doing it for the past few months. The waves Leo took us to were amazing and just renewed my love of surfing. In addition to the awesome location, Leo gave really great advice and tips that I’ve been able to use back home. He gave me great knowledge about reading waves, positioning for the wave, and positioning on the board that’s helped me progress a lot. Would definitely use Vallarta Surf Co again in the future!

Leo and Daniel took our family of four (kids 14 and 9) on a surf lesson for the day. We all had a blast! They took us to a great surf spot, provided all the gear and did a great job teaching us how to surf. They were with us the whole time in the water and were great with the kids. Highly recommend surf lessons with them as a great family activity.

During my trip to Puerto Vallarta, I wanted catch some waves without any complicated planning. Vallarta surfing company was recommended from a local working at our hotel reception. We called them, they came on the next day to pick us up and had everything organized for us in 5 min. or so. We organized a 5 hours trip from 8 am to 1 pm (Which means we were able to eat at our resort for breakfast and lunch J). My boyfriend and I had two different surfing levels, lessons were optional depending on our wishes. My day exceeded my expectations: quality boards, powerful waves, snacks, Leo and Daniel gave us some extra time to make our day special and were very professional. The communication was easy, the vibe was great and the day was my trip’s highlight. Bonus was I got to surf over a shoal of 1000+ fishes! Grateful we had this experience, we give 5 stars and a half *****+! Cindy and Tommy
