About Vallarta Surf Lesson
Pickup and drop off:
We pick you off and drop you off on your convenient location with flexible time departure.
I will choose a destination depending on the surf conditions and your level so that the lesson is optimal.
It takes aprox 45 min to get to the surf spot from Puerto Vallarta.
*On the way you will be given information about the area and the surfspots.
Once we arrive to the beach we start off by warming up with some stretching following by surf technique and safety instructions. In the water I will be making sure you are safe by assisting you 100% through out the lesson choosing the best waves for you. By the end of the lesson you should be able to catch a wave by yourself with my verbal assistance. Throught out the lesson you will be given knowledge about the ocean and factors that determine a good surf day so you can become a complete surfer!
*The lesson lasts (aprox) 2.5 hours from the moment we hit the beach.
*On the way back we have the option to stop by to eat at a restaurant.
What to bring:

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Emilian and his crew were amazing instructors! I was in PV on family vacation last month with my parents and younger brother. We decided to book with them last minute and it such a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area who wants to surf - seasoned or new to the sport. They were:
1.Experienced - They got all of us up on waves within minutes of being out in the water ( Two 59 yr, a 26 yr , and 16 yr)! We never felt unsafe out in the water (not all of us are water bugs), on the drive to and from, or at the location.
2.Conveniant - We did not get a car rental because my parents didn't want to deal with driving in Mexico. Emilian and his team were flexible in picking us up and bringing us back. They also are fluent in English which was so nice for us foreigners.
3.Fun - They were so kind, encouraging, and open to chit-chat. Very knowledgeable of the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We could not have dreamed of a better surf experience! Emilian is an amazing instructor and I cannot believe what he helped us to accomplish today. He brought along another great surfer/instructor Giovanni and they worked with me (middle aged first time surfer) and my 9 year old son who has some surfing experience. When we booked this lesson I really thought I would just paddle a bit and make some attempts to get up but that I was really there to keep my kid company and say that I did it. But- I actually caught some waves and had the best time and want to go again! My son loved the experience and got some great assistance with his form and technique. Emilian really wants you to understand the process and explains everything so that even a beginner can understand. Beyond that, he is a great tour guide and gave us lots of tidbits about local spots and both Emilian and Giovanni were fun to be around. Can’t wait to come back and take more lessons with them! He showed me helpful maneuvers and explained a lot of the physics behind them. I was so pleased with my session with him that I’ve already booked another one later this week. Emilian is a super nice guy, professional, and laid back. At the same time he is a serious instructor that will focus on the things that will help you become a better surfer.
