About Vallarta Yacht Club
Vallarta Yacht Club is and always will be an independent, volunteer-run, non-profit organization of boating enthusiasts. Our mission is:
- To provide an attractive, comfortable, and active private social environment for residents of and visitors to Banderas Bay who have interest in yachting, other aquatic activities, sport fishing, sport diving, and related social activities.
- To promote, sponsor, manage, and provide facilities for amateur and professional regional, national, and international aquatic events such as yacht regattas and rallies, sport fishing tournaments, sport diving events, and marine training and educational programs and seminars.
- To sponsor charitable events and activities which benefit the Banderas Bay region and its residents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only Yacht Club in Banderas Bay. VYC has hosted many world class sailing events over the years. The Junior Program is very good and they support the annual migration of cruising boats. The Banderas Bay Regatta has a 25+ year history. It is one of the biggest cruiser events on the west coast of North America.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an awesome little club! Nice facility, absolutely top notch staff, brilliant location next to paradise village.
One of my friends is a member, we used the club Hobie cats to go sailing, had a couple of nice casual meals, and did some racing on the weekend.
I really like the club, it's well kept and modern, and seems to have great participation rates among the members.
If you are into boating and planning to be in Nayarit more than once a year, Dec think about joining
