★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were married in Punta Mita in late May and wanted an activity for our guests one day during the visit so I contacted Vallarta Yacht Company, David Tarr and he set up everything for us. We had 75 guests and the day could not have been better. He set us up on a a beautiful Catamaran that was awesome. The guests loved it, the crew was really great, food was good and the water toys were a lot of fun. I had an excellent experience with Dave and his team and will do business again with them. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sail boat was over 30 minutes late and the water taxi that picked us up, tried to shake us down for more money. At first, it was agreed that 100 pesos per person to take us to and from the boat... when we got onto the water taxi, he tried to tell us it would be 500 pesos per hour per person and then tried to charge us for arriving early to the pier. I was not happy and luckily I knew how to speak spanish and undersdood the shakedown way more than he thought I did. The fact that boat was over 30 minutes late cut into our trip time... the staff was excellent and nothing against them at all, but the over all trip was less than what I expected. Sadly, I will not be using them again and advise to watch out for the shake downs and the fact that they never responded to me when I inquired why the boat was late, added insult to injury. Additionally, the sail boat reeked of trash and smelled horrible. The sailing was overshadowed by the fumes that came from the motor running, which ended up making me sick.. over all, thumbs down and dislike!

Everyone on the boat and in the office was professional, responsive, helpful and really focused on our guests having an amazing time. We celebrated my 50th on the trip, and we also arranged for our friend to propose to his GF. Wow! The charter provided champagne for the proposal, picked the perfect spot, and made it soooo cool. the food was great too. We asked them to pick the route and the stops. They took us to some private beaches at the south end of the bay. Amazing. The crew kept us in the loop as to where we were headed next and took care of our every need. I really can't say enough about them, as well as Sharla and Dave who took care of arranging the trip for us. Thank you Vallarta Yacht Company - You. Are. Awesome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent top notch time. The boat was gorgeous, the cap and mate were excellent. Pickup was seamless, could not have been a better day at all to be honest. The only thing that was wrong was it went by so fast!!
I was a little worried that we didn't have any itinerary and they took care of it perfectly. Swam in the most beautiful setting I've ever seen, had a great lunch at a way off the beaten path restaurant, never had an empty drink, and fantastic snacks aboard. Plenty of conversation with the crew, and also plenty of time to relax and have a nap.
Also, booking was a great and easy experience. Was planning my wedding simultaneously so I was not the most responsive and it was not an issue at all. Friendly folks, great communication, would give 10 stars if I could.
