★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love all the rocks. But I entered on the wrong side, and didn't get the full effect. It is better to drive around to where the sign says "Valle de los ranas" because on this side the rocks actually look like ranas. Very close to here (a 2 minute drive), if you keep going, is the "Valle de los hongos" which is worth going a little further because it is amazing. People were selling items, and there was even a guy selling delicious ice cream. Very fun little trip. The roads are not paved, and very bumpy, but I think most cars would be ok driving out here. Just look out for potholes and big rocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely stunning rock formations. They covered a very large area . These naturally-formed rock formations were huge. You could climb up large sloping areas and look down and all around and get some fantastic pictures. These rock formations were in two different Indian indigenous native tribe's land.. You had to pass-through a makeshift toll booth and pay to enter their land.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An twist of a Spanish settlement, the history of why the tarahumara are still in the same exact spot that they were first seen 1554 and still thriving in pretty much the same exact ways. Just now and days there is a lot of tourism, that bring money to the tarahumaras family.
