Very unique rock formations, in fact the largest and most interesting it rock formations I have ever seen. If you're in this area it is definitely worth your while to see these amazing naturally formed stone structures.

thr the nature of this place is fantastic. but the indians that live there are extremely filthy. and bad educated no knowledge of keeping a natural trsurure clean. The only thing they do is being for money

The tarahumara still live around The valley of the mushrooms. Just to see the society still functioning like the way our ancestors did is just merely amazing. The canyons and the views. A really good trip for the out door type.

The hike from Creel to El Valle de Los Hongos is around 6km, a relatively easy-moderate walk and one I would highly recommend. I suggest starting behind the baseball stadium, and there are arrows to help navigate up through beautiful pine forests, before you reach some really rather interesting and outstanding rock formations. The Vally of the Mushrooms are cool set among local indigenous settlements.

Small place to enjoy unique stone shapes from the top of the hill. Be there if you enjoy Sierra tarauhmara landscapes.
