Great deals on boots here. I think I blew there mind when I paid with Samsung Pay.

My wife and I purchased 2pair of boots we are happy and can’t wait shop there again.

Great place to visit, some shop owners are pushy but others are very nice. Merchandise is very reasonable in price and you can expect to get some nice deals. Never buy jewellery from a port however unless you have experience in your gems. High prices, fake metals and wrong information is highly likely and explains why there are so many jewellery vendors despite only ever having one or two people inside. I recommend sanchos for  people who like all you can eat and drink for  $50 or paradise beach for smaller groups and family's.   If you head across the street the small market has more of a cultural feel but I highly recommend you don't travel in much further without a good group of people and be prepared to turn down some interesting offers. No matter how tempting these things may sound to some, accepting them could land you in a Mexican jail when the same people turn you in. If your buying some pharmicudicals they have a loose set of regulations and you have a lot of options over the counter.  The main one in port is has a higher moral standard but has some okay prices.  Across the street at the bigger pharmacy to the left they will have just about anything but can be really pricy on some high demand pills. The only other drug store worth going to is the one located inside the Starbucks at mr sanchos, they have a smaller selection but their prices will save you a lot even with the $14 in cab rides and hey, how many other people can say they bought a Starbucks coffee with a side of prescription drugs. (Please be responsible a normal amount of reasonable meds will lead to confiscation at most, a dealer amount could land you a lot of jail time) If your interested in the excursions there are one or two local ones you may be able to find  but for this port it's probably better to book through the ship unless you have a lot of good reviews  from a trusted source. Swimming with the dolphins is a fantastic experience and something worth trying.

Veari shoes has great quality and reasonable prices on boots and shoes. Shoes are very comfortable. They will negotiate on prices if they know you are a serious buyer.

During my day at port I came across this Veari store and it's neighboring competition Roger Boots. My very first observation was that the quality of shoes was much better at Veari ( from the stitching to the quality of the outside & inner soles). At Veari I worked with Sergio who was very helpful and not pushy during the sale. That spoke volumes because I did not receive the same reception at the Roger Boots location that is closest to the water. Long story short I was insulted by the salesman after I simply said I didn't like the specific style of Alligator lace up shoe that he showed me. He called me and my wife "garbage" after we walked out he store. I was happy to give my business to the store that deserved it which was Veari. Sergio and his partner set me up with a nice pair of chocolate alligator dress shoes along with a belt at a fair price. Once I returned home and checked my credit card statement, the charged amount was just over by $6. Understandable mistake due to the exchange rate but my credit card co. corrected that for me. Hands down when you visit this port, stop in at Veari and ask for Sergio. Ask for the bottom-line price right off the bat once your serious about your item to avoid too much bartering frustration.

I just purchased a pair of boots. The staff was friendly, helpful and fun to be with. The selection was great and the prices too. They even had a foe jeans pant leg to simulate what the boost will look like with jeans on. A Big plus’s for me. I had on shorts. Little things like this along with a incredible staff make this store FIVE STARS!! I’m upset that I didn’t purchase 2 or 3 pairs. I’ll Be Back! Maybe for a jacket also. Keep up the friendly service and fine workmanship. P.S. no room in my luggage so I’m wearing them home. ?
