VELEZ TOURS - 77500 Cancún

El conductor Vélez Celso estuvo 2 horas hablando del Chamán que se dedica a vender agua curativas, yo le pedí si podría ser breve en su charla y me contestó de muy mal modo y me amenazo con hablar al hotel que yo soy clienta de años, y de regreso estuvo explicando por 10 minutos que ellos vivían de las propinas y no quería que le dejen 1 dólar o monedas porque eran un equipo, vergonzoso para mi muy mala experiencia

Do not book here! -We booked a tour to chichen itza + cenote + Valladolid. -They pomised us a travel time of 2.5 hours for one way. Actually it was 4 hours. First stop after 4h of driving was at a souvenier shop where we had to spent 1 hour. -The time we had at the places were very short. So we could only see half of chichen itza. In Valladolid we stayed 15min - time to take a picture and go back to the bus. - Extra cost at the cenote - Extra cost for water - They sold anti-mosquito-spray for 10us$ because it will be full of mosquitos there. I am glad that we did not buy it becaus we could not even find 1 single mosquito there

We booked a package deal with some of their representatives. This was our first time in Cancun, and normally, we don’t do the whole “tour” stuff when we travel, due to the scams. Nevertheless, we gave in and gave this company a try. To our findings, it was quite a disappointment. We were promised this and that. A magnificent time at the Isla Mujeres (IM) with unlimited uses of the parachutes, snorkeling, ice bar, unlimited drinks and food. What we got was basically nothing. If anything we received a VERY limited time at Isla Mujeres. Upon arrival to IM, the people on the boat took us to a tequila tasting, only to waste a bunch of our time- bribing us to buy this tequila and blah blah. It was such a waste of time. During the IM, we were rushed. Didn’t get to enjoy the time there, and supposedly it’s the most beautiful beach in the world. The food was gross too. I am not sure if Cancun just doesn’t know how to cook or if they lost their taste? Their culture? Authenticity? The second trip this company sold us was to the Chichén Itzá, and that was a rushed trip as well. We know this touring company contracts with different vendors, that are third parties, but I wouldn’t recommend them to someone who’s trying to visit all the places with patience. Going on a tour means everything will be rushed. I would have paid individually and taken my time, than trying to get a deal with a rushed time. Please re-consider paying for packages, unless you don’t mind having short period of times for each event. The unlimited “drinks/food” does not always apply to what they “sell” you. Those beautiful images/pictures they show you on the pamphlets are often just a front, and you will actually get less.
