velozrentacar - 97000 Mérida

Previous reviews was deleted but its important to say Veloz is expensive and their cars are not reliable. Vacation ruined. Smelly car due to busted air conditioning and busted phone chargers. Rent elsewhere!!! Refused credit and was not willing to negotiate the expensive rate, they took advantage of the last minute request.

Excellent experience renting a vehicle from Veloz. So much easier than renting from big companies. Super friendly staff and reasonable rates. No hidden fees. Will definitely use Veloz when I return to Merida.

Honest, fast, friendly, professional, good prices compared to their competition. Also very fast communication through whatsup. The only thing I did not like is that they gave us a car with 1/8 of gas in it - without informing us about it before signing all the paperwork. I dont like renting a car when gas is not full. I dont like calculating how much gas I should put in, how many km I have left, etc. It is much easier to fill up the gas before returning the car than doing the calculation. Because of that we lost some money on gass - we filled up more than we were given and there was no compensation for it.

Last minute car rental and for that it was very affordable with a nice service. The car was alright, nothing special with a few scratches here and there. We picked up the car in Merida and drove to Chiquila, where someone took over the car to bring it back. All in all we only paid 7600 Mexican pesos for 8 days and the different return location.

Car was promptly delivered to hotel considering last minute request. Compared to other car rentals Veloz is extremely expensive. Auto was standard and uncomfortable. With temps of 98-100 AC should be a requirement yet the car did not have AC. To make matters worse, phone charger also didn’t work so we had to get maps or ask for directions when phone ran out of power. The use of the car was a brutal experience. I do not recommend. Veloz should not rent worn out vehicles, none the less charge $55 usd for the smallest standard car.

You want to lose hundreds of dollars due to a broken tail light, even though you paid for an extra insurance with these guys? Then youre more than welcome at this company with their filthy business! Dont hesitate to spend all your hard earned money to get only headache in return. Have fun with your holidays and hoping to have found a reliable business, because with these guys you have that guarantee to make a memorable experience!

Excellent service, straight forward and easy communication. Price is reasonable and the car we got was clean and in good shape. Staff was helpful and gave us lots of good information, would recommend! Thank you!

We chose this company based on google reviews and would highly recommend it. We sorted everything over whatsapp, got the car dropped off and picked up from our hotel in Merida without having to pay anything additional. Staff were very friendly and everything went smoothly. Very good service and value for money
