Buy the insurance! We had prepaid for this venue at Dolphinaris and so we arrived at Ventura with no money on us only to learn that we had the option of purchasing insurance for $5 per person in the event that equipment was damaged. Being so far from my wallet, I chose to not to buy the insurance. Big mistake. My daughter crashed the UTV on the first turn which was followed by a steep rocky downhill. She ended up perched on top of a rock wall. A front suspension arm appeared bent after the crash and they wanted us to pay them $100. I inspected the UTV and found that the links connecting the front stabilizer bar to the front suspension had been removed making the stabilizer bar ineffective. I expressed to the manager, who was very polite and professional, that I felt they had put my daughter in an unsafe vehicle that had missing parts and gave her little instruction on how difficult a UTV can be to control on a such a rocky course. It clearly was not governed to keep speeds down. Not wanting to get into a prolonged disagreement and sour my vacation mindset, I brokered a deal with the manager to pay $40 and be done with it. They rest of the park, zip lining and ropes course, was fun for the girls and they said the staff was professional and very entertaining. Bottom line....buy the insurance and be wary of smaller venues with extreme sports equipment that may not be adequately maintained. One staff member advised me that the UTV involved was the only working UTV they had left as all the others were damaged. He showed me a photo from the previous day of one up against a wall, nose pointing up. Perhaps they should govern them at a slow speed and make sure all the UTV's parts are present and working. The course is such that speed is not necessary, the thrill is in going through water and climbing and descending rocky terrain.

We had a great time. Having the same guides throughout the park made it very personal experience. Jonathon and Beto took our group through the first time. They were knowledgeable, kept us safe and made us laugh a lot. Angel and Yorge took us through the second time and were also a blast. Photos taken by the staff were crisp clear and extremely well priced. Will do again and strongly recommend!!

Uvi, cookie, flash and monster were the greatest guides! As a group of six, were all having doubts while heading up to the top as to if we would go through with it all and they were so supportive and encouraging they really made us feel at ease. I would definitely recommend asking for them and trying the zip line and go carts!

We had an amazing time ..... From the go karts to the Zipline. And finished with the bungee jump. All the guys were so amazing kind and helpful
