Always very friendly. Nice spa interior compared to many others in Vallarta outside of hotels. Great place for a massage!

Was just in Puerto Vallarta and had a massage at Venus Sunshine Spa in the Marina. Angela did my massage and did a great job. A sweet gal who gave a very good massage. Very clean and professional. $30/hr for a swedish massage.

Me and my wife had a great time here on our honeymoon. We had the honeymoon package that included a 75 minute massage with essential oils and a full body massage. Once they found out it was our honeymoon they went and above and beyond and added a total body exfoliation for free. We were super impressed by their service and help to keep us in our comfort level! I would recommend getting your massage from them for your trip!

When I visited this year (2020) I came to Venus Spa twice. The first time, on a Sunday, I received a therapeutic massage. It was decent, though I would have liked more pressure. I'd say it was about 70% relaxing and 30% therapeutic. I've never been here on a Sunday before, so perhaps the "A" team wasn't working. The second massage was a Thai massage from Alma on a Friday. I wasn't sure what to expect because typically a Thai massage is done on a large floor mat and they only have tables at Venus Spa. Alma did a good job overall; she stretched me out and I felt looser afterwards. She told me it was difficult to do everything she needed to do on the table because it was too narrow. Basically Venus Spa doesn't have an ideal setup for Thai massage, and I wouldn't get that kind of massage again. Overall Venus Spa is a professional, clean and quiet place to get therapeutic massages, and it's much cheaper than the options on the Vidanta resort where we're staying.

I've had hundreds of massages. Some are better than others but I thought there was no such thing as a bad massage until the "massage" I received tonight which was so exceptionally bad that I left with a thick coat of oil and disappointment. After a very nice dinner at La Terrazza Di Roma, my wife and her sister wanted to do some shopping and suggested that I get a massage at Venus Sunshine nearby. I requested a one-hour deep tissue massage knowing that it would be an extra charge. My wife saw the manager run down the exterior sidewalk and later discovered that he had run into a nail salon and apparently brought a nail tech over to give me the massage. He was open for business but I suspect his real massage therapists were occupied or gone for the day. My deep tissue massage consisted of no actual massage but someone lightly rubbing copious amounts of oil over my skin for an hour. The manager clearly wanted my money more than he cared about the reputation of this business. I paid in full but won't be back. That said, others have had better experiences so it's possible to get a good massage here from a real trained massage therapist.

I was here in 2019, and I could not wait to come back in 2022. The women are so professional and respect your needs at every turn. They all wore masks during the pandemic and even sprayed the room with Lysol first when I asked. They are clearly trained in the art of massage, patiently reaching the areas that feel sore and literally transforming the muscles from aching to relaxed. I went at least three times this past week, for the more than affordable price a $45 for 90 minutes. I felt safe and comfortable, and I highly recommend making a visit part of your stay. This is walking distance from the Marriott (which I also loved) but 1/3 of the price of the Marriott's spa. You can really indulge here with an hour and a half massage. They like when you reserve by calling the phone number, but I never did, and they were just as welcoming and available. It is located in the marina.
