I did the lesson with Martin and Sofia. They are super expert instructor, with a great soul. All the location they bring you are amazing! Hi recommended!

Amazing day with Martin and his crew. As well as having a fantastic climb at a crag near the town, it was awesome just Chilling with Martin and discussing climbing with him and his bolting projects he is working on. Can't say enough positive things about what he is doing here and urge anyone passing through to go out for a climb with him or do the learn to climb course. Thanks again Martin

Great climbing experience with Martin today, he's extremely knowledgeable and passionate. I'm amazed by what he and his wife did with their covid lockdown time (found, cleaned and bolted loads of routes just outside of San Cristobal); what an amazing contribution to the climbing community, for both locals and travellers!

Sofia and Martin were exceptional! I've done a four day course of rock climbing as a complete beginner as even having vertigo. Martin and Sophia were exceptional teachers very patient and able to handle and get me through my panic attacks while I was climbing. It ended up with me taking more days to climb as I discovered a new passion and overcame my worst fear. Thanks you both for making me a new man !

I had an awesome time learning rock climbing in San Cristobal. Martin and Sofia have a great attitude, as instructors they strike a perfect balance, never being overly serious or stressed while always re-enforcing all the various safety precautions climbers must follow to ensure a safe climb. Martin and Sofia are also just very fun people to be with generally. They promote an atmosphere of inclusion and socializing making you feel welcome. The four day climbing course covers all major aspects of sport climbing. Additionally, the cost of the course is of extremely good value. The same course in Canada would likely cost four to five times the amount with less instruction from likely less qualified instructors. My favourite aspect of the climbing course is the focus is not on climbing technique, but more on belaying, rappelling and important safety procedures. Each day you learn more through failure and your climbing technique improves. I hope to join Vertigo climbing again on my next visit to San Cristobal.
