★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is incredible! Menu is unique & all ingredients are local. Feels to me like traditional Italian dishes not mainstream. Everything tastes great from appetizer to first dish to entree & dessert. Wine list is great too. Very cozy feel in bottom floor, feels like your in a cellar/cave kind of but with some modern twists. Very good service, prices are about medium but could easily be more. Worth every peso. I have been here twice now (my friends more & was their recommendation) and ordered different dishes and still top notch, HIGHLY RECOMMEND... enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We dined at Verum Franco (family party of 4) twice last week during a vacation near Guadalajara. It is a real gem of a find! Proper Italian food, very well served, great wine selection, smart/casual restaurant ambiance, very reasonable prices. There is nothing up here around Carlsbad, California that checks all of those boxes! This place is great and the staff team are doing a great job. Bonus points because on visit #2 the head chef warmly greeted me by name! That never usually happens....but it's impressive customer service :-) Highly recommended.
