★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I had a fantastic birdwatching outing with Oveth Fuentes of Viajando y Pajareando (Traveling and Birdwatching).
Oveth picked us up in Comala at the appointed time, and drove us to Rancho Las Trancas (about a 20 minute drive). He provided binoculars for both of us, plus he had a spotting scope through which we could also take photos with a cell phone.
Oveth is very adept at identifying birds by their song, calls, and visually. He composed a list on ebird of the the 53 species we saw and heard, which he sent to us along with photos he took throuth the spotting scope.
We choose the 1/2 day outing, which was about 6 hours from pick up to drop off. A full day outing is also available. The price was very reasonable.
We highly recommend Oveth if you would like a great birdwatching experience in the Colima/Comala area.
