Renters beware, these people do terrible business. For a relatively new apartment, there are many issues due to poor construction and planning. They will charge you for anything that doesn't work to begin with, like the shower heads that were broken when I moved in, or the refrigerator that would not keep your ice cream frozen, and double bill you for electrical bills. I got dinged for 2 months worth where I paid, they said they would get the reciept to me, never did, then took it out again on my deposit. And that was after stringing me out for a month before I recieved the balance. Now I have to dig through reciepts long stored away to be able to try and recover any of it back, and for the time wasted it is not worth it, unless I want to waste more time that I don't have to recover it, which is unlikely. On top of that, they told me I was lucky to get anything back at all, because this is Mexico. If you choose to stay here, especially long term, my advice is to inspect everything under a microscope, document it, make them fix it BEFORE you move in. Anything that did not work before that needs to be fixed, like the fridge, will be on your dime. All in all I lost about 7,000 pesos due to this type of scam. And DO NOT PAY ANYTHING unless they already have the reciept in hand to give you, because you will be charged again for it, as they apparently have real short memories. Better yet, find somewhere else to stay, you will be glad you did. There are much better options with people who do much better business. Also beware as they also rent other places.
