Se inauguró el 1 de agosto de 1970 y se ubica sobre Calzada de Tlalpan con salidas a las colonias Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez y Villa de Cortés en la alcaldía Benito Juárez. El nombre de la estación hace referencia a la colonia en la que se ubica. El icono de la estación representa un casco haciendo referencia a los cascos del ejército de conquistadores españoles de Hernán Cortés.
Actualmente la estación se sometió a un proceso de remodelación en sus accesos con el fin de estar conectada a una pequeña plaza y varios comercios.
Station belonging to line 2 of the metro. It was inaugurated on August 1, 1970 and is located on Calzada de Tlalpan with exits to the Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez and Villa de Cortés colonies in the Benito Juárez mayor's office. The name of the station refers to the neighborhood in which it is located. The station icon represents a helmet referring to the helmets of Hernán Cortés's army of Spanish conquerors.
Currently the station underwent a remodeling process in its entrances in order to be connected to a small square and several shops.

Hay más luz, se ve mucho más seguro y ahora puedes salir y tomar el trolebús a Iztacalco o las combI que van a sifón y que pasan por la viga, canal de apatlaco, Zentralia Churubusco, metro apatlaco y más....

There is more light, it looks much safer and now you can go out and take the trolleybus to Iztacalco or the combi that go to the siphon and that go through the beam, the apatlaco channel, Zentralia Churubusco, the apatlaco metro and more ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Metro villa de cortez ubicado sobre la Calzada de Tlalpan... Es línea azul correspondencia cuatro caminos a tasqueña Es una estación en reparación pero la entrada está igual... No hay ningún problema en ninguna de las entradas... Es un estación muy limpia lo único q si le falta. Son unos botes de basura xq casi no hay y luego la gente la tira donde sea pero la verdad siempre hay guardias de seguridad para cualkier cosa ....cuenta con escaleras eléctricas... Para los discapacitados..... Espero les sirva mi información y Q yeguen con bien a su destino.... ????
Metro Villa de Cortez located on the Calzada de Tlalpan ... It is blue line correspondence four roads to Tasqueña It is a station under repair but the entrance is the same ... There is no problem at any of the entrances ... It is a very station clean all that is missing. They are trash cans xq there is almost no and then people throw it anywhere but the truth there are always security guards for any thing .... it has escalators ... For the disabled ..... I hope they serve my information and Q go well to your destination .... ????
