Villa Hermitage 1880 - 45900 Chapala

I had the privilege of staying in the Penthouse here Jan and Feb 2022. I highly recommend the villa. It is beyond 5 star for many reasons. The king bed was very comfortable, the lounging porches looked east and west and in my opinion have the best views in Chapala. The bedroom has a very large view window of the lake and mountains and the villa is lake front. The bath is remodeled with the highest quality tiles and marble in the shower, toilet and bidet. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee mugs, coffee pot, stainless utensils, toaster, blender, drinking water, fridge, 2 burner stove top, sink, and includes a gorgeous glass topped table with 4 elegant chairs. The kitchen also has 2 doors accessing the viewing porches, a loveseat trundle couch/bed and TV. The vista from the kitchen windows include the lake, other casitas that are on the property and many private elegant homes that are in the neighborhood. The quality of clients this villa attracts are friendly, and it feels welcoming the moment you arrive, from other clients and from the owners. The gardens are beautiful and the atmosphere is rich. There is also a shared laundry down on the main floor. There are lovely areas with tables and chairs to enjoy the gardens. You may sit and read, meditate, watch the fountains and the birds or listen to the lake waves or visit with friends. The owners have created a very special lakefront vacation destination for clients from all over the world to enjoy Chapala and all this area of Mexico has to offer.
